〓FOR ALL APPLICATIONS〓
All applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of application submission
All applicants must have a Discord account or the willingness to make one
All applicants must submit three (3) samples. Your samples must represent your style and work the best, as well as what style you intend to use for the zine.
All applicants must make sure all links are visible to the mods without signing into any site. If we cannot access your links, we will not be contacting you and your application will be disqualified.
All applicants are expected to have fully read and understand the schedule and are aware of all due dates, agreeing that they will meet them on time.

〓FOR WRITERS〓
Please provide three (3) samples of work that best showcase the style you will be using for this zine. All samples should be between 1,500 - 2,000 words. At least one sample should be a complete standalone fic within the word count.
One sample must be a Genshin Impact character x reader fic. For the rest of the samples, character x reader fics are preferred but not required.
Samples will be judged upon your overall ability based on characterization and how well you tell a story. This will include plot, flow, grammar, and punctuation. Please send us your best works.
All samples MUST be SFW. NSFW will not be counted and may result in your application being disqualified.
〓ZINE EXPECTATIONS〓
Writers will be required to write one (1) completed SFW fics between 1,500 - 3,000 words.

〓FOR PAGE & COMIC ARTISTS〓
Please provide three (3) samples of works that best showcase the style you will be using for this zine. One (1) sample must have a full background, one (1) sample must be fully colored and rendered. Sketches and wips are fine, but finished pieces are preferred.
One sample must be from Genshin Impact. For the rest of the samples, Genshin Impact pieces are preferred, but not required.
Samples MUST be SFW. NSFW will not be counted and may result in your application being disqualified.
If you are applying to be a COMIC ARTIST, one (1) sample must be of a completed comic.
Samples will be judged upon design, consistency, composition, anatomy, and backgrounds
〓ZINE EXPECTATIONS〓
Page Artists will be required to create one (1) fully rendered single page piece with background or one (1) fully rendered spread piece (two pages) with background.
Comic Artists will be required to create one (1) comic between two (2) to six (6) pages. Comics do not need to be fully rendered and can be in color or black and white.

〓FOR MERCH ARTISTS〓
Please provide three (3) samples of works that best showcase the style that you will be using for this zine. At least one (1) sample should be fully rendered and (1) piece must be a merch design (avatars, wallpapers, etc)
One sample must be from Genshin Impact. For the rest of the samples, Genshin Impact pieces are preferred, but not required.
Samples will be judged on design, consistency, composition, anatomy, and how well they translate to merch. Backgrounds will be taken into account as well, if applicable.
〓ZINE EXPECTATIONS〓
Merch Artists will be required to create two (2) to three (3) merch pieces to be made into digital merch from a list provided by the mod team.

About this zine:
This is a character x reader Genshin Impact zine. The zine will focus primariy upon writing such as fics, letters, diary entries, etc. The zine will be free and released in a pdf format.What characters/regions will be featured in this zine?
For our first zine, characters across all regions will be featured. The zine will not have a specific theme, nor will there be any AU (alternate universe) content. Each fic will take place in the canon universe.Will there be NSFW in the main zine?
No, there will not be any NSFW content in the zine.How old do you have to be to apply?
You have to be 18 years of age to apply.Will this zine be a for profit zine?
Due to this zine primarily dealing with fanfiction, this will not be a for profit zine. After formatting is completed, the zine will be released on Itch.io for download for free.How many contributors are you looking to accept?
At the moment, we are not putting a limit on the amount of contributors we are accepting. The Genshin Impact x reader community is not the largest, so we’re not expecting a large number of contributors.Is AI usage allowed in this zine?
No, AI usage is NOT allowed in this zine for both the art and writing.Do I have to make a new piece for this zine?
Yes, only new pieces will be allowed for this zine.Am I allowed to share any wips of my piece?
You will be allowed to share wips of your piece, but only at the time as dictated by the mods of the zine. This will be primarily during the formatting phase, right before the zine is released.Do I still have the rights to my piece at the end of the zine?
Yes, you will still have rights to your piece at the end of the zine.Will the content I make outside of the server have any effect on my application?
While the mods of this zine do not judge people for what they do write or draw, we do care about the comfort of our contributors. If you create content that may be offensive or upsetting to other people, we ask that you create a separate alias for this zine so that others may not be offended.Do I need zine experience to apply?
No, you do not need any zine experience to apply.Can I apply for more than one role?
